MOBILE TWIN-SHAFT SHREDDER
A mobile twin-shaft shredder platform for assessed bulky waste, commercial waste and construction & demolition (C&D) waste, with three drive configurations and interchangeable shafts.

ONE PLATFORM
The PHANTOM combines a tracked chassis, tilting hopper, twin-shaft chamber, adjustable screen system and height-adjustable discharge conveyor. Its commercial value comes from changing the process configuration when the material changes.

Current specification. The functional source illustration may retain an earlier conveyor annotation. Use the current 3,800 mm manufacturer-stated discharge height shown in the HTML specification and final quotation.
THREE CONFIGURATIONS
All three variants share the core shaft geometry and stated torque. The operating case determines which drive configuration deserves a material trial.

CAT C7.1 diesel
A 205 kW CAT-powered PHANTOM for operators who need the full interchangeable-shaft platform with the core diesel configuration.

CAT C9.3 diesel
The 310 kW CAT diesel configuration for applications whose verified operating case benefits from greater installed engine power.

Electric + diesel travel
A 250 kW electric primary drive with an 18.4 kW HATZ diesel travel system for sites evaluating an electrically powered processing configuration.

RAPID SHAFT CHANGE
Different material streams place different demands on draw-in, cutting action and output. The PHANTOM is designed to change complete shaft configurations and pair them with relevant counter tools and screens.
MATERIAL APPLICATIONS
Use the application pages to connect material condition, likely shaft families, screen or counter-tool choices and a representative assessment.
01Hammer shaft
Process assessed construction & demolition (C&D) waste—including mixed debris, concrete, reinforced concrete and stone—with hammer shafts, controlled feed and the required screen system.
≈ 180–220 tonnes per hourmanufacturer-stated average
Explore application →
02Star shaft
Process pallets, waste timber and selected bulky wood with shaft geometry chosen for draw-in behaviour, output definition and the contamination profile.
≈ 35–42 tonnes per hourmanufacturer-stated average
Explore application →
03Star shaft
Open up fibrous green waste and irregular rootstocks with a configuration designed for draw-in, changing moisture and embedded soil or stone.
≈ 25–35 tonnes per hourmanufacturer-stated average
Explore application →
04Star shaft
Reduce assessed bulky waste, commercial waste and variable municipal waste streams on an interchangeable-shaft platform that can be reconfigured around the feed.
≈ 18–25 tonnes per hourmanufacturer-stated average
Explore application →
05Star shaft
Grip and reduce suitable tyre and rubber streams using shaft tooling selected around elasticity, steel content and the required downstream fraction.
≈ 13–18 tonnes per hourmanufacturer-stated average
Explore application →
06Metal shaft
Reduce selected light scrap, profiles and metal-bearing materials with a metal-shaft configuration and a tightly controlled feed assessment.
Explore application →
07Star shaft
Prepare paper, plastics and selected mixed materials with shafts chosen for controlled draw-in, tearing and the downstream sorting process.
≈ 12–19 tonnes per hourmanufacturer-stated average

FREQUENTLY ASKED
Its operating proposition is built around interchangeable shafts, configurable counter and screen systems, reversible hammer tooling and three drive configurations on one mobile platform.
WERT promotes a rapid shaft-change system. This site does not state an unverified time or repeat the fastest-on-market wording as independent fact.
No output is guaranteed from a web specification. Material, shaft geometry, screen, recirculation, feed and operating conditions all affect the result.
Standard and Plus use CAT diesel engines. Hyperion uses a 250 kW electric primary drive and an 18.4 kW HATZ diesel travel system.
Start with material, duty cycle, site power, transport and the required downstream process. A representative trial should inform the final quotation.
Specifications and equipment may change as part of continued product development. Images may show optional equipment. Performance figures are manufacturer-stated averages and may vary according to material, machine configuration, shaft selection, screen settings, feed method and operating conditions. Final specifications will be confirmed in the formal quotation.
