DATA PROTECTION

Privacy Policy

How WERT Recycling Machinery UK collects, uses, secures and retains enquiry, consent and upload data submitted through this website.

01

Controller details

WERT RECYCLING MACHINERY (UK) LIMITED, company number 17402980, at Unit 1, Prime Business Centre, Millfield Industrial Estate, Bentley, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN5 0SJ, United Kingdom, is responsible for the personal information submitted through this website. Email support@wertuk.com for privacy questions or rights requests.

02

Data we collect

Enquiry forms collect contact, company, machine, material, project and consent information. They may also record the landing page, referring domain and recognised campaign parameters such as UTM values, GCLID or MSCLKID so WERT can understand how the enquiry arrived. Optional files are stored privately. Anti-spam data may include timing, origin and an idempotency token.

03

Why it is used

Information is used to take steps at your request, answer the sales or support enquiry, assess machinery or material, provide requested documents, protect the website and meet legal obligations. Marketing will require a separate lawful basis where applicable.

04

Optional analytics

When WERT configures Google Analytics 4 and you accept optional analytics, the site measures page use and conversion actions such as form starts and successful submissions, telephone and email link selections, document downloads and video plays. Form field contents are not sent to analytics. Google Analytics remains disabled when it is not configured or when you choose essential only.

05

Storage, retention and sharing

Enquiries are stored in access-controlled systems and optional files are held privately. Information is shared only with service providers or manufacturer contacts needed to handle the request, subject to appropriate safeguards. Routine website enquiries and associated uploads that do not become part of a contract, warranty, dispute or legal obligation are scheduled for deletion 24 months after successful delivery to the enquiry system. Delivered integration-routing records are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Undelivered or failed records are retained for manual resolution and review. Contract, accounting, warranty and legal records may be retained longer where required.

06

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Use the contact form to make a request.
